NuScan 500A Document Camera
NuScan 500A Document Camera The Document Camera will be placed on a mat with printed guidelines for placement of the camera and documents.
Do not disconnect the USB cable from the document camera or the computer.
When you are finished using the document camera, lower the camera arm to the base.
Camera and Light Adjustment Adjust the LED light by turning the radial button on the end of the document camera.
The camera lens is located underneath the horizontal bar with the lights behind.
Start the Application - Double click the Image Center icon on the desktop.
This will prompt you to allow the program to make changes to the computer. Click on Yes.
The NimoShow options menu appear on the Desktop.
Place your document onto the mat and select the Document Camera icon to begin using.
Menu Bars - There are two menu bars that appear on the screen.
The menu to left contains markup tools, the hand icon will allow you to move the captured image on the screen, draw a straight or free form line, insert a circle, triangle or square, temporarily highlight with the star wand, as well as the ability to Save the image after markup.
The menu bar at the bottom of the screen allows you to zoom in/out and turn the rotation of the image. Saving an Image You can Save an image of the document either with or without markups.
Select the Save (floppy diskette) icon from the menu on the left.
Documents will be saved as a .JPG format in the NimoShow folder with your Documents folder on the computer.
Open the File will open the .JPG. Open the folder will open NimoShow. Open the Folder NimoShow allows you to manipulate the captured image. Here, you can merge the data to create a .PDF, Convert to .TIFF format and/or Send to an Email recipient.
